Land Cruiser 80 Series (1990-1997)

The early J80s (1990-1992) came with either:

IHZ 4.2 liter naturally-aspired inline 6 diesel engine making 129 HP (96 kW) at 3,800 RPM and 210 lb-ft (285 N m) of torque at 2,200 RPM

IDH-T 4.2 liter turbodiesel inline 6 with 12 valves and direct injection making 164 HP (122 kW) at 3,600 RPM and 266 lb-ft (361 N m) of torque at 1,400 RPM


Later 80 series models (1993-1998) got a few more engine options including:

IFZ-FE 24-valve 4.5 liter fuel-injected inline six making 212 HP (158 kW) at 4,400 RPM and 300 lb-ft of torque (407 N m) at 3,600 (on 91 octane fuel and no catalytic convertor)

IHD-FT (1995+) 24-valve 4.2 liter, fuel-injected inline 6 turbodiesel making 168 HP (125 kW) at 3,600 RPM and 280 lb-ft (380 N m) at 2,500 RPM


IHD-FTE (HDJ100 Station Wagons, Troop carriers and HDJ79 Utility Models) 24-valve 4.2 liter, fuel-injected inline 6 turbodiesel making 167 HP (125 kW) at 3,400 RPM, and 280 lb-ft of torque (380 N m) at 1,400 RPM. an 380 N m (280 lb⋅ft) of torque at 1,400 RPM.
